Aims & Scope

International Applied Mechanics, a translation of Prikladnaya Mekhanika, provides up-to-date coverage of studies on: solid mechanics and mechanics of structure members (shells and plates) as appliedto processes: stress-strain state, stability, dynamics and wave propagation. The attention is paid to mechanics of composites, fracture mechanics, coupled fields mechanics, mechanics of residual stresses, mechanics of structures interacted with fluids and gases, also. The articles on stability ,o.f motion, nonlinear dynamics, mechanics of rigid bodies are published. In particular, the journal deals with the modern fundamental and practice'problems of engineering mechanics as applied to the technology, design and fabrication.

The Russian volume-year is published in English beginning in July.
